A. If your baby’s ears are itching too much and you notice rough skin, it could be due to dry skin, eczema, a mild allergic reaction, or even a fungal infection. Check if there are redness, scaling, or flakiness around the ears. What You Can Do: Moisturize: Apply a gentle baby moisturizer or coconut oil if the skin appears dry. Check for Allergies: Avoid scented soaps, lotions, or detergents that might be causing irritation. Maintain Hygiene: Clean the ears gently with a soft cloth and avoid inserting anything inside. Monitor for Infection: If there is swelling, discharge, or excessive redness, it could be an infection, and a doctor should check it. Consult a Pediatrician: If the itching persists or worsens, a doctor can confirm whether it’s an allergy, eczema, or infection and suggest proper treatment.
