#asktheexpert hello, my 6 months boy has started on semi solids twice a day which includes 1 fruit puree 2-3 teaspoon and dalia. His milk intake is only 90ml and 5-6 times in 24hrs. Is this ok?

A. The formula milk consumption for a 6 months old baby should be around 900 ml a day and the baby would want between 210 ml and 240 ml at each feed. There should be atleast 5 feedings in 24 hours. Semi solids and solids consumption you can increase gradually. Give sips of water in between meals.
