A. Dear mum, weight of 9.6 kg is slightly on the lower side for 2 years 4 months old baby girl. For healthy weight gain, give 5 to 6 meals a day. The meals should be wholesome and balanced, having a variety of food groups. Give variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, raisins, dates to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food.
