#asktheexpert Hello mam, my son got vaccinated with DPT vaccine he is 16 months old and after the vaccination he suffered from fever for two days and the injected area on his thigh turned red and swelled please let me know if this is normal or not.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl7 months agoA. Swelling usually happens after any vaccination which is why we always suggested to keep ice cube or cold pack onto that area to settle that down but still if it is there do the same keep some cold pack on that area and after that you should apply Thermophob to reduce our swelling to it 3 to 4 times in the day
