#AskTheExpert Hello Mam my infant kid is showing small white patches on the area below his knees. Is it something to be worried or it is quite normal in babies?

A. can be due to fungal or urinary tract infections..its better to consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised. start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly

A. Hello dear parent, having patches on baby's skin are normal. You can apply coconut oil or Babyhug massaging oil on the affected areas. Repeat this process after 2 to 3 hours. It must heal or get better in few hours but if it does not then must Consult with your paediatric. Also ask your doctor for supplements to be given like iron calcium and vitamin etc.
