A. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like severe headache or excessive crying or excessive vomiting or abnormal movements or lethargy or seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination. x if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watch policy for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head. also apply ice locally.

A. Any head injury, especially in infants, can be concerning, even if the bump seems minor. The soft and jelly-like feeling you described could indicate a scalp hematoma, which is a collection of blood under the skin. While many minor head injuries in babies do not lead to serious problems, it's essential to monitor your daughter closely for any signs of a more severe injury, such as: 1. Persistent crying or irritability. 2. Vomiting. 3. Lethargy or excessive sleepiness. 4. Changes in behavior or responsiveness. 5. Difficulty feeding. 6. Unequal pupil size or abnormal eye movements. If you notice any of these symptoms or if you're worried about your daughter's condition, it's best to seek medical attention promptly. A healthcare professional can assess her and determine if any further evaluation or treatment is necessary. Additionally, they can provide guidance on how to monitor her at home and what signs to watch for that may indicate a more serious injury.
