Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. guve steam at home .Mild cough and cold may be due to any viral infection or maybe due to only seasonal variation so only steam can be given at home for home remedy and paracetamol for fever

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. You can give indirect steam bath. If Breastfeeding u can add more garlic in ur diet which will help the baby's cold or cough and will also improve lactation. If there is any nasal congestion u can use nasal drops prescribed by ur pediatrician. You cannot do much other home remedies for babies under six months. So if the cold or cough seems to get severe it's good to consult with your pediatrician.
