#asktheexpert hello mam, I am blessed with baby girl. During delivery they used vaccum pump. Due to this there is a small bump on the head of the kid.. Can you please tell whether is it normal?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. Hello dear parent. It is very natural event. Vacuum has been applied for the baby to have a small bump and usually it will resolve on its own in a couple of months. Do not press on it. And do not do massage on that area . If it seems to be increasing in size than consult, a doctor, or you can also show it to the doctor in your next visit
