Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello madam, I am 22 week and 5 days pregnant. My gynaecologist prescribed Duphaston 10 mg twice daily for 30 days. She did a physical examination and said that the growth of baby is not up to her expectations. She said that level 2 usg scan will help understand the growth of baby better. The scan showed that the baby is fine. However, my gynaecologist still asked to take Duphaston 10 mg twice daily for 30 days. What should I do? Will this be risky? Please advice.

A. It is a good thing that the ultrasound scan showed that everything is fine. The medications that are prescribed to you will support the pregnancy so you can continue taking themWrite Your Answer Here
