#AskTheExpert Hello Ma'am, since last few days my son is passing slight blood in stool. we already visited two doctors first one gave antibiotics after that also problem was not rectified then we visited another doctor after 20-25 days he showed wound in rectum it also been 10 days but still blood still can be seen rarely. i am not sure what to do next.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Mostly blood in stool is present when baby is having constipation and passing regularly hard stools so you should increase more of liquid diet to the baby And include more of green leafy vegetables and fruits, which has fibers

as there's wound , it should be fissure
it happens because of constipation
so please feed your child on demand
make sure your child get enough milk
apply coconut oil on wound
keep that area clean using gentle wipes like Babyhug wipes
