#AskTheExpert Hello ma'am ,My son is 5 month old.When he was born his weight 2.5 kg & borned in 40 weeks of pregnancy.Now his weight is 5kg & 100gm & height is 61 cm... Is his weight is normal or he is underweight. If he is underweight then what should I do to increase his weight??

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom Normally babies do double of their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months a monthly gain of about 300 g to 1 KG is observed and there is at times variations ,if your baby is normal and active and accepting his feed well enough do not worry
