#AskTheExpert hello in 17th april i had my delivery. It was normal . But I feel pain in my stiches. when i take amoxycillin and combiflam for 5 hours i dont feel pain but after that i have to take the pain killer again. the pain killer which i take is sage for breastfeeding or not.

A. Most over-the-counter (also called OTC) medicine, like pain relievers and cold medicine, are OK to take when you're breastfeeding. For example, OTC pain relievers like ibuprofen (Advil®) or acetaminophen (Tylenol®) are safe to use when breastfeeding.
