#asktheexpert ,hello Dr my son is now 17 months old and his weight is 9 kg is it ok but his performance , activity level is good

babies weight gain depends on their birth weight
usually they gain triple their birth weight by the age of 12 months
ideally 17 months old baby should have weight between 9 to 12 kg
so don't worry your child weighs normal
as your child weighs normal and look happy and active no need to worry about anything
