#AskTheExpert hello Dr, my baby is 4 months old n on breastfeed, my right side breast hurts a lot during and after feed. my baby was suffering from oral thrush few days back. suggest me whether the pain is due to oral thrush or any other cause??

A. good morning I don't think it has anything to do with oral thrush you must be having pain because of some other reason I would recommend you to please check for any cracks on the nipples which could be causing problems

Q. #asktheexperts my son is 13 months old he is still on breastfeeding for first six months he was on exclusive breastfeeding only after six months I started giving solid and still I breastfeed him on demand I want to breastfeed my baby for minimum 2 and half year but the problem is I used to breastfeed him on left side for most of the time so he was more comfortable on left side feeding only,on right side I feed him for minimum time, it's been a six months I haven't feed him from right breast,now I want to start my feeding from right breast also,I just wanted to ask that it will be safe if I will start feeding him from right side again,I mean the breast milk won't harm him na? beacuse it's been six months I haven't feed him from that side ?
