, yes it's perfectly normal
because their digestive system still developing and they learning about their bodies
sometimes it happens because of inadequate physical activities
or when child swallow air at time of eating
or it can be result of food reaction too
so please keep an eye on your child diet,a avoid giving gas generating food items like cabbage, potato etc frequently
encourage your child to eat slowly and chew food throughly
give some mint leaves with pinch of salt and pepper powder daily after meal
