#asktheexpert hello Dr.. my baby girl is 2.5months old l and she poops frequently almost after every feed. is it normal??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food / milk intake. if the growth / weight gain of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenoxmena. usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child

If the motion is loose in consistent then a child is genuinely suffering with loose motion in that case it would be good for you to get it example as they can give a confirmation and if any particular particular particular medication would be required for the same
