#asktheexpert Hello Dr. My baby boy is weighing 6.120 kg at 4 months n 20 days. on Jan 9, he was 5.900 kg. Is the weight gain is normal? His birth weight was 3.520 kg. He is on exclusive breastfeeding. kindly guide. thank you

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Thank you so much for ur response. He is quite active, rolling over from back to tummy since 3 and half month. He can sit with support these days. I was concerned about the weight gain as read somewhere that birth weight should double by 5 months.

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Yes the weight of ur baby is pretty good. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Exclusive breastfeed ur baby till six months. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby. 6
