#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. Gud morning my baby has high fever from last night and while she was crying her throat is very dry there is no voice at all is that symptoms of she had swallowed something?? because she was playing with small onions I am very much scared of she had swallowed the onion.. we are taking her to hospital but before that please suggest something.. I am really very scared

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. if the baby has take onion you should pat on the baby back strong dab as if anything inside that will come out of the mouth..
in fever there will be water loss as then you should keep the baby well hydrated..
monitor the temperature at regular intervals..
you can give calpol.. or crocin..
consult the doctor..
