#AskTheExpert hello doctor yesterday I was tested covid 19 positive and I have 16 months old baby and breastfeeding too today she got little temperature she got fever doctor she is with me any time so icnt away from her so please suggest any medicine for her and is there any test need for her please suggest sir

ExpertNiharika PandeyPediatric Dentist4 years agoA. Hi you should consult with your pediatrician before giving any medicine to your child. infection can spread easily from mother to child. now you should follow the protocols and self isolate yourself.

Give Paracetamol for the time being if the fever comes down within a days time it’s fine and if it is increasing every now and then and not reducing then you should consult your paediatrician because certain times kids can easily catch an infection from the parents also
