#asktheexpert Hello doctor wanted to ask if it is normal for my 6 months old child to poop every 2 days. she is having a normal poop but the smell is too bad. she is on breast milk and 1/4 fruit juice once a day.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. constipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more when you are giving formula feeding in such a case you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal. if the baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult doctorswa.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.

I mean ,if a child looks happy and active,eat and sleep well then no need to worry for this.
