#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, The influenza vaccination is due for my son in the month of December 2021. However can you please let me know if my son can have the vaccination earlier to December considering the current weather condition and the pandemic ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Vaccination for children can be considered in the current situation as the cases of covid are less to some extent .
In such condition most important Vaccination should be given on pggriority which your doctor will decide.
Influenza vaccine should be given to children above 6 months of age in this season if not given to avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and other risk factors because of flu infection
