#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, since 3 days my baby is suffering with fever.visted hospital as per doctor prescribed we are giving him p-250 for every 6 hours 3.5 ml and his age is 1 year 3 months. In the middle of paracetamol dose doctor prescribed mefthal 2.5 ml. From last 24 hours he didn't any temperature. But now again he have temperature 101. I am so worried about him...

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Thank you for quick response doctor, but generally how many days it will take to reduce. Do I need to visit the doctor again like tomorrow bcz it's almost 72 hours.

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory prnrocess in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
