Q.

#AskTheExpert - hello doctor, recently my mother in law was tested positive and since I was negative, me and baby were shifted to another house. but my father in law who was then negative like me is starting to show symptoms. how do I know if the baby has acquired the infection? is it recommended to do a RT-PCR on a 13 months old

A. generally there will be possibility of getting infection in first 3 days even if the person is negative so better all the family members tested for RT PCR if having any doubt
