#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my youngest is already 1yr and 1 month old but she does not have teeth yet, is this okay?

A. yes it is completely fine as some kids get their teeth a little late. you can wait till the age of 18 months for the first tooth to erupt in your baby's mouth and massage the gums with the moist cotton cloth and give silicone teether toys to chew on them

A. Hello dear parent! Absolutely normal in small babies. Increase the calcium intake. Teething might start as late as 18 months in few. Serve foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that is healthy and staple in your family.
