#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my son is getting too much sweat during bottle feeding, he is only bottle fed with formula. milk .usually his head and hands get wet during feeding. is it normal? what to do?

A. hi parent it's due to hyperdynamic circulation present in babies maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water ok

A. During times of activity, for example with feeding, a baby with a congenital heart defect may have to work harder to breathe because of the excessive blood flow and water in the lungs. This extra work may produce sweating. Likewise, sweating may be a sign of an increased metabolic rate.
