#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor.. My son is 1yr and 8months old.. I'm still breastfeeding him.. He is not sleeping throughout night.. He wakes up almost 5 to 6 time during night and depends breastfeeding to sleep.. Therefore, im also loosing my sleep and tired all through the day..So my parents and in laws are insisting me to stop breastfeeding.. What can I do now? Is it right age to stop breastfeeding? or can I continue? If i have to stop feeding, suggest some ideas to stop?

Hello mom what you can do is now gradually try to reduce your feed.. one at a time .. and now as per his age animal milk can be given to Him as well so you can feed him a healthy and filling dinner and also inbetween as required feed him cows milk that’s very similar to mothers milk and at times pat him back to sleep.
Make sure his day naps are not too long
