Q.

#asktheexpert Hello doctor! My son is 1 yr 4 months old. I don’t see a change in his height and weight from last 3 months. Is this a cause of concern? What all could be added in his diet (in summers) to help him grow better?

A. dear Mum, if your baby is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, weight is within the normal range for baby's age then do not worry. Give top food 4 to 5 times a day and up to one katori every time. Also give one healthy snack in between. Give nuts like almond, dry fruits. All seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, milk and milk products, chicken. At least 500 ml of milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese.
