#AskTheExpert hello doctor, my son has umbilical hernia. it's growing day by day and looks scary. it's going inside when i press and he doesn't have pain. please suggest on size.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.f
with growing age it regresses and goes inside
it does nxot require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated.
meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.
