hi doctor my baby is one and half month old she has umbilical hernia please suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age.d with growing age it regresses and goes inside d it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated. meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required.

And in such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it because your doctor can only advise you well after examining baby. If it is not extreme then it can also be cured with the help of medication so consult the doctor about it
