#asktheexpert Hello doctor! my kid is 5.5 months old and he breast feed till 4 months only ( breast milk and formula both) but now he completely relies on formula milk and not at all consumes breast milk. Die to this milk produce also reduced. Is ithis practice okay for his health? Also is there any method to get breast milk production again?

A. Sometimes when you give more formula milk to the child the child gets used to having a bottle milk because it’s more convenient and comfortable for them and also since you’re mentioning they do not have good lactation then there’s no harm to continue giving only formula milk to the child
