Q.

#AskTheExpert hello doctor. my kid is 3.5 year old and recently visited a dentist. he got his cavity removed which was superficial and filling was done. 2 days after the visit, he had a high fever of around 101,102 and also now I see mouth ulcers. is it common to get a fever and ulcers after a dental filling? is there some chance of infection?

A. hello mam normally it is not seen but yes sometimes infection of the tooth can lead to fever so it is better to visit your dentist once he or she will be able to guide you better
