#AsktheExpert Hello doctor, My daughter is 4 months old and recently we came to a new place where the climate is colder and from 2 days her voice is changed while crying (galla bait gaya we say)and she also has cough, had some me cold even. please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. this occurs due to weather changes or simple cold and some times infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nassal blockage and respiratory cough. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Some amount of gaseous distress and colic pain will be there even after all medicine or proper burping . Gastica drop can be given 3 times and meftal spas drop for pain when there is severe .
