#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor..my daughter is 3 year 1 month old and recently started going to playgroup for past 3 months....for last month's she is having frequent cold and cough....apart from playgroup she is mostly at home...but we are little worried with this trend

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cougdh usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperaturte variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

A. Try to give a baby more vegetables and fruits give him plenty of water to keep a hydrated given food rich in vitamin C also give him curd yoghurt buttermilk try to involve him more and more physical activities you can give him Ginger juice with honey 2 times a day Crush Tulsi leaves and give it your a baby chew you add garlic in his cooking to boost is immunity system kerp giving steam and go for Hemopateic medicine
