#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor..my daughter is 3 year 1 month old and recently started going to playgroup for past 3 months....for last month's she is having frequent cold and cough....apart from playgroup she is mostly at home...but we are little worried with this trend

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cougdh usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperaturte variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

Try to give a baby more vegetables and fruits give him plenty of water to keep a hydrated given food rich in vitamin C also give him curd yoghurt buttermilk try to involve him more and more physical activities you can give him Ginger juice with honey 2 times a day Crush Tulsi leaves and give it your a baby chew you add garlic in his cooking to boost is immunity system kerp giving steam and go for Hemopateic medicine
