#asktheexpert Hello Doctor my daughter is 2yr 10 month old..she is having fever from yesterday.. After medication fever reduces and comes back in 10-12 hours.. I know it takes 3 days to reduce but still little worried. Her voice is also not coming out.. Her throat is congested.. What to do?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. you can treat the fever temporary with paracetamol only for one day or 2 days you still persisting better to see the doctor there can be various reasons infections which to be addressed by the qualified doctor

If it is repeating in 10 to 12 hours that is still a good sign that means a fever is slowly subsiding down otherwise the tendency of the favourite to repeat every 4 to 5 hours so it’s a good sign other than that you can do Thande Paani Ki Patti as that is also a quite helpful thing in reducing down the temperature for the child
