Hello Doctor, my daughter 3 yrs 5 months old. she has constipation problem due to hirschsprung disease and noticed after completion of her 1st year.

How to treat this problem?
is it required two levels of surgery?

yYes it is related by birth and insurance will not covered this claim.. its same happened with me.

You have to admit her right now. Bcoz my daughter had same situation like her. After anema and x ray they operated and attached bag. So plz rush to the hospital and save her.

Any surgery not yet done and no bag attached. currently baby experiencing belly swelling, fever, not proper motion so doctor suggested barem enema test and xray to suggest further. Doctor recommended either one level or two levels of surgery to remove non functioning segment and cost of each one is around 1.70 lakhs in vizag.

is this Congenital decease ( by birth related), not applicable for insurance claim?

in this case it is difficult  to comment here without proper evaluation and clinical assessment. so it will be better if you consult your nearest doctor to give proper suggestions about it proper treatmenmlaet would be possible only after proper diagnosis is formed after knowing proper history & clinical examination according to the symptoms so please consult nearby doctor once.

give her milk of magnesia everyday. does she have colostomy bag ?

Thanks for responses and pull through surgery is not done. Taking 2nd opinion and I'm father of baby.

give your kid lukewarm water every morning and it's good to give warm water throughout the day. Include a banana everyday. Also you can soak raisins in water over night and can filter can water alone. This is also quite effective.

Hello Mom.
My daughter had same problem.. she had hirshsprung disease when she born. They applied colostomy  bag on her left side of stomach and done pull through surgery after 10 months. but after the operation, sometime she suffered from constipation very badly. Everything depends on her diet so make sure give her fibre diet. 
Has pull through surgery done?
