#Asktheexpert hello doctor, My baby us 2.5months old.Since 4 days she has developed pus on BCG injection site .She is all normal, feeding well, sleeping well, but I am worried that why all of sudden that pus is coming from injection site after 2 months. do I visit her pediatrician or should I apply Nebasulf powder on that

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear In most tuberculosis (TB) endemic countries, bacillus Calmette Guérin (BCG) is usually given around birth to prevent severe TB in infants. The neonatal immune system is immature. Our hypothesis was that delaying BCG vaccination from birth to 10 weeks of age would enhance the vaccine-induced immune response.
