#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my baby turned 9 month yesterday and we have taken her vaccination. She was in pain, crying a lot, got fever 100.2F different from earlier vaccination as they were painless. 1) I want to know is all the injections are available in painless form for babies? 2) she got blue mark at the spot of injection please help me to reduce her pain and mark from thereπŸ™πŸ»

A. Hello, your baby girl is 9 months old and she has received her vaccinations yesterday and she has a swelling and redness at the injection site so apply ice cube on it

A. Apply ice pack indirectly.

A. Yes most of the vaccinations are available in the painless version also but for this thing I would recommend you to keep an ice cube of ice pack on to the affected area this is going to help and settling down this and swelling and pain as well and you can continue giving paracetamol after every six hours even if there is no fever but if there is pain you can use itWrite Your Answer Here
