#asktheexpert Hello doctor my baby is 7 months old n has caught cold. How can I treat him he’s got very cranky and irritated . I gave him steam from vaporiser. Please suggest if anything else works.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 7 months old now to relieve cold give steam inhalation warm massage to chest and apply vicks baby vaporub on chest and give maxtra drops 0.5 ml twice a day for 5 days

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hello ma’am Nasal drops are the best to go for apart from that if you want to please consult your paediatrician because sometimes you cannot get a cure with all these home remedies so in that case you’ll have to go for a proper course of medication only
