#AskTheExpert # Hello doctor.My baby is 5 months 21 days old.His weight is 6 kgs.His birth weight was 3 kgs.Is he gaining weight normally?He has not gained any weight during last 20 days.Kindly suggest.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, a weight of 6 kg is a normal weight for 5 months 21 days old baby considering a birth weight of 3 kg. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months which your baby has already achieved.
