#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor my baby is 4 month 8 days he is vomiting 4-5 times after every feed. right now I am giving him domstol as suggested by our doctor but still he is vomiting. could you please suggest what can I do.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and thecn again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not gixve anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

If Your child is vomiting 5 to 6 times in a day it’s normal that’s mostly due to stomach reflux which is common with kids so it would be better not to give medicine to much just try to feed your child on demand and see the things are going to change over the period
