Q.

#asktheexpert hello doctor. my baby is 2.10 years old. his protein level was low in his latest blood report..i have been giving him the protein rich food since long even after that this was the outcome..i have been giving him daal on daily basis, paneer three or four times a week..banana apple regularly..what shall i do now to increase his protein level and also suggest me some ideas to help him gain weight..he is 13 kgs now..

A. his weight is good, Give protein rich diet...as protien is building unit of our body. Like- all pulses, eggs, all milk and milk products, banana, youghrt, beans, chickpeas, tofu, nuts also give one threptin biscuits per day.

A. Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight. Please take a pediatricians' suggestion before you start any of these foods.
