Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello doctor...my baby is 16 days old....my concern is my milk only suffice her for more than 45 mins to an hour and in the night it happens like I have to feed her after every 15 mins or 30 mins...I do feed her my breast milk but at the same time I feed my baby through formula as well as she can't control her hunger....Is it safe ? and yes I am been giving her Enfamil formula milk...so is it a good one ?

A. Mother’s milk is best for the baby. You can feed your child on demand basis . There is no harm in doing so. Giving formula milk is ok if you feel so. But it’s not recommended

A. yes give pls. breastfeeding is the best source of immunity and nutrition for baby . Exclusive mother feeding should be done for six months for brain growth . No formula milk is recommended as it s not needed . No ghutti or water till six months .
