#AskTheExpert hello doctor my baby is 12months old i want to stop breast feeding, iam still having more milk how can I stop, baby is drinking formula milk from last month it is for my self how to stop milk

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. yes you can stop feeding expressing breast milk you can substitute with cows milk instead maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with lukewarm water

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..as per world health organization one should feed fir minimum 2 years.. but as it's your wish to wean off your child. as baby has already stopped feeding..gradually your body will stop producing milk. happy
