#AskTheExpert hello doctor. my baby is 12 days old. i started breastfeeding from the second day of my newborn cos i delivered my baby through c section. for past three days i am getting severe pricking pain in my nipples while feeding. i used nipcare ointment. but no effect. pain is still the same. pls suggest me remedy to cure that pain.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good afternoon I would recommended you should for a few days try to use a nipple shield when you are feeding the baby this will help to make sure that you are not having so much of pain
