#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my baby is 10 months and I have very very minimal milk supply and she takes the feed only one side, she is not accepting formula and cow milk, is it ok if I continue to keep her only on solids

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most coymmon. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the afppetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. hi parent you may use leptadene ayurvedic tablets twice a day with glass of milk daily for four weeks take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning you may use formula but better to use Desi cow a2 milk give her probiotics and seasonal fruits as wel
