#asktheexpert Hello doctor, My baby is 1 month 11 days. She doesn't latch well, and even she latches she doesn't drink for long time. So sometimes I pump out the milk and feed her through nipple. Is this okay doctor?

While it may take time to get the hang of pumping, it's a great way to ensure that your baby continues to get breast milk even when you're not there. If you have questions or concerns about how much milk you are expressing, talk to a lactation consultant or your health care provider.
