#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my baby girl is one month and 17 days old. From last few days, whenever she needs to pee and pass motion, first she cries and after passing urine and motion, her face looks like she feels relaxed. why does this happen so, what remedies should I do to make my little one comfortable?

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. x sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum xof the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination
