#asktheexpert hello doctor, My baby boy is 6months old now . Baby is crying during night time and we think that is because of colic pain or abdominal pain so we are using colicaid syrup after that baby will normal within 5 mins . Can we use this syrup whenever baby get pain?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and fenjkiel oil with semethicone.
other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
