#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor my 3 mnths 15 days baby is frequently suffering from cold and blocked nose it is a cause of concern ?...from 20 days I'm using saline nasal drops and medicines prescribed by doctor ..but its not effecting completely.. what do I do ?

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingljyy along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
