Q.

#asktheexpert hello doctor. Is it always compulsory to cover your newborn baby’s head while he/she is asleep under fan ? When I cover my little girl’s head while she is asleep even under fan, her body becomes very heated.

A. No need to cover the babys head. For babies the body heat is released only through the head. If u touch and see the head, it cam be hot sometimes. So tgere is no need to cover the babys head under fan. Just dont put the baby directly under a high speed fan. It may cause breathing trouble.
